Accounting Program
In addition to the Member Benefits such as Cashback and Friendship Bonus, Lyoness offers Members the opportunity to receive the Additional Member Benefits. To make the attainment of Additional Member Benefits more easily understood by Members Members, a graphical model of the Accounting Program is used. The Accounting Program is where the Loyalty Benefits (from fully paid purchases/orders) and Member Benefits (resulting from down paid/Gift Card Orders) are booked.
All About Lyoness
The Lyoness video shows the benefits a Members can receive and how simple it is for them to take advantage of the Lyoness shopping possibilities. The video offers an insight into the Lyoness shopping world as well as the world of referral marketing. An all inclusive review with stunning animation technology.
App
Lyoness has made Apps available for the Members: for example, the Lyoness Mobile makes it possible for Members to create and manage Mobile Vouchers. The Cashback Magazine App is available to download from the Apple App Store.
Cash Account
All payments are collected in the Cash Account, and on achieving a minimum sum of $ 10 will be transferred to the Member's private bank account.
Cashback
For every purchase that a Member makes with Lyoness Loyalty Merchants up to 2% of the purchase amount will be credited to the Member‘s Cash Account. As soon at least $ 10 has accumulated, the money will be transferred to the Member‘s private bank account.
Cashback Card
The Cashback Card is a symbol of Lyoness Membership as well as a means of receiving benefits from tens of thousands of Lyoness Loyalty Merchants that accept the Cashback Card. This unique loyalty card is not a means of payment, but rather serves solely to register the Member's purchase with Loyalty Merchants. The purchase data registered through the Cashback Card is then forwarded to Lyoness for the calculation of the resulting Benefits.
Cashback Magazine
Since 2008 the Cashback Magazine is published several times a year. The circulation is constantly increasing and it is available in various languages. It focuses on information about the most recent company developments and features on new and well known Loyalty Merchants. It also has success stories and various topics such as travel, fashion and lifestyle.
Cashback Point
A chain store location or SME Loyalty Merchant where Lyoness Members can take advantage of the shopping benefits.
Chain Store Company
Chain stores are Loyalty Merchants who have a cooperation with Lyoness in all, or several, of their branches (possibly even in other countries). These chain stores then provide Lyoness Members with the Lyoness Benefits when they shop. The International Key Account Management is responsible for building and supporting the Lyoness Cashback Point network amongst chain stores worldwide.
Child & Family Foundation
The Foundation is a politically independent charitable organization that is dedicated to the support and promotion of children and families in need worldwide, particularly in the area of education. As a Lyoness Member, you actively contribute to the implementation of social and educational projects with every purchase you make. For more information please go to www.lyoness-CFF.org.
Child & Family Foundation Magazine
The Child & Family Foundation (CFF) in words and pictures: In the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation Magazine you will see all the current and completed CFF projects. Detailed reports and photos from the project locations; renovations and building of schools; emergency assistance and many other projects around the world. As well as being available in print form, the CFF Magazine is now also available as an App for your iPad and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.
Cookie
Enabled cookies ensure that any purchases you make with Online Loyalty Merchants through Lyoness are recognized as a Lyoness Member purchase and are allocated to your Purchase Overview. Once you have logged in to the Lyoness website, found and clicked on your chosen Loyalty Merchant and their website has opened in a new browser window, a cookie will be saved on your computer. Once you have completed your online order - once you have received your order confirmation - the information saved by the cookie (such as e.g. your Lyoness ID number, purchase amount, order number, order date, etc.) will be verified by the online store. Your purchase details will then be transferred to Lyoness and the resulting Member Benefit will be assigned to you.
Coupon Code
Coupon Codes are additional discounts which Lyoness Members receive from Online Loyalty Merchants through the Lyoness website.
Down Payment/ Partial Payment for a Gift Card Order
If a Partial Payment for a Gift Card Order is paid, it is possible for the Member to pay the remaining amount until the relevant Loyalty Credit has been achieved. Once the remaining amount has been received, the Member will receive the ordered Gift Cards, for example, by mail. Thus: Partial Payment + Remaining Payment = Gift Card value.

Educational sponsors are an important means of support for the projects implemented by the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation. Being a sponsor doesn't just mean believing in a better future for children, teenagers and families in need but also actively doing something to help them. Flyer-Registration
Registration with a Friendship Flyer. A scan of the fully completed registration form should be sent to the relevant Regional Office. The $ 3 fee is paid by the Referrer.
Friendship Bonus
If a Member recommends Lyoness to others, the Member (as Referrer) will receive up to 0.5% of the value of all purchases made through Lyoness by each new Member (Direct Friendship Bonus). If these new Members then recommend Lyoness to more people who become Members, the original Member will also receive up to 0.5% of the value of all purchases through Lyoness that they make (Indirect Friendship Bonus).
Friendship Flyer
You also have the option to register new Members by using a Friendship Flyer. This Flyer can be ordered from the Lyoness Online Store or from your regional office. Friendship Flyers consist of a Member folder, which contains general information about Lyoness, and a non-personalized Cashback Card that the Member can complete with his or her name and immediately take advantage of the benefits of the Lyoness Shopping World.
Gift Card
Gift Card is a commonly used term for a preloaded card to be used at selected merchants. Gift cards allow the cardholder to use them for the purchases of goods and/or services.
Gift Card Order
There are two ways to pay for a gift card order with Lyoness:
1) By making a full payment: As soon as the relevant total amount has been paid in full the Member will receive the Gift Cards, for example, by post.
2) By making a Partial Payment: A partial payment for an order is paid. As soon as the remaining payment has been received, the Member will receive the ordered Gift Cards, for example, by post. Thus: Partial Payment + Remaining Payment = Gift Card value.

Gift Card Point of Sale
An SME Loyalty Merchant from which Lyoness Members can obtain Gift Cards for different Loyalty Merchants. You can find an overview of all the Gift Card Selling Points on the Lyoness websites.
Gift Vouchers
Lyoness Store Vouchers (Shopping Vouchers and Loyalty Vouchers) can be given to other Lyoness Members in the form of Gift Vouchers. Members can order the desired amount from the Lyoness Store, or via the Lyoness App, and then choose the Voucher type (Loyalty Vouchers or Shopping Vouchers). Once the purchase has been completed, the Gift Voucher will be available to download, or can be sent by Email. The recipient can then redeem the Voucher by entering the Gift Code in the relevant form on the website, or via the Lyoness App. Depending on the Voucher type, it will be credited as a Loyalty Voucher or Shopping Voucher in the recipient‘s Purchase Account. The recipient can choose how, when and for what they wish to use the Gift Voucher: as a Mobile Voucher, Loyalty Merchant Voucher/Gift Card Order, to register Members online, to purchase registration Flyers, or for purchasing products from the Lyoness Store.
Greenfinity Foundation
The Greenfinity Foundation promotes climate protection and is committed to the world of tomorrow. Whenever you make a purchase through Lyoness, you automatically support the Greenfinity Foundation and help with the implementation of international climate and environmental protection projects. Key Account
The International Key Account Management is responsible for implementing the points of sales within major corporations, as well as servicing all the Key Accounts worldwide.
Loyalty Account
The Loyalty Account is used to collect the Loyalty Benefits (part of the Member Benefits) which the Members accumulates automatically with every purchase.
Loyalty Benefits
Up to 2% of the purchase amount will be credited to your Cash Account (= Cashback). The remaining benefits (= Loyalty Benefits) will be booked into your Accounting Program. You can also benefit personally from further benefits (the Additional Benefits).
Loyalty Card
The Cashback Card (CBC) is the Lyoness loyalty card. The CBC must be presented at a Loyalty Merchant’s register, before payment is made, in order to receive the Member Benefits. The Cashback Card simply registers the Members' purchases and does not represent a payment method of any kind.
Loyalty Merchant
Lyoness has cooperation Agreements with chain stores, SMEs and Online Shops. On the basis of this cooperation Lyoness provides special conditions for all Members in the form of Member Benefits.
Loyalty Merchant and Product Search
The search option on the Lyoness website to enable the Member to find Loyalty Merchants and products.
Lyco
The Child & Family Foundation mascot is available exclusively at the Lyoness Store. All the proceeds go directly to the Child & Family Foundation.
Lyoness Community
Describes all Members and Loyalty Merchants who shop through Lyoness, save money and do good.
Lyoness Loyalty Program
The Lyoness Loyalty Program creates a Win-Win-Win sitation in accordance with the philosophy "Together we are strong", and offers regional, national and international businesses an effective and sustainable Customer Loyalty Program.
Lyoness Store
The Lyoness Online Store offers an extensive range: In addition to Gift Cards and Vouchers, the Member can also order Flyers (Frienship Flyer etc.) and various merchandise products. The product range is expanding continually.
Lyoness.TV
Lyoness.TV is an online news channel that provides the Lyoness Community with the most up to date information regarding the company and the Foundations, as well as exciting background reports. An archive is also available and makes it possible to access the informational videos at a later date.
Member Benefit Code (MBC)
Every Loyalty Merchant is allocated an MBC. This is a letter code which represents the Member Benefit in the Lyoness Loyalty Program. This can be found in the Loyalty Merchant details on the website.
Member Benefits
The Member Benefits are based on the conditions agreed between Lyoness and the relevant Loyalty Merchant. The amount of Member Benefit varies according to the Loyalty Merchant, sector and the country. For every purchase you make with a Lyoness Loyalty Merchant, you will receive Member Benefits.
Member ID
Every Member has a unique Member Number/Member ID, which enables all his purchases made through Lyoness to be allocated to him. This number can be found in the Member‘s personal Online Office, as well as on his personalized Cashback Card.

Mobile Cashback
Shop with your mobile phone – with Mobile Cashback. The Lyoness Mobile app. is available to download for Apple iPhones, iPads and Android Smarphones free of charge from the relevant stores. The MyLyoness.net web-app can also be accessed on all mobile devices via the browser. You can therefore shop by using electronic Vouchers generated on your mobile device.

Online Flyer Registration
Register a new Member using a Friendship Flyer, and then enter the registration data using the Online Flyer Registration option in your personal Online Office. The advantage: The potential new Member does not need to wait for the relevant Regional Office to process the Registration, he can start using Lyoness immediately. Also, the new Member will have the light blue Cashback Card which is attached to the Friendship Flyer, and can enjoy the shopping benefits right away.
Online Loyalty Merchant
Loyalty Merchants who also have, or exclusively have, an Online Shop, and who are part of the Lyoness Online Shopping network.
Online Office
There is an Online Office available for every Member on the Lyoness website under www.lyoness.net. Once a Member has logged in, he can see his purchases, recommended Members and get information about the Member Benefits from the Lyoness Loyalty Program at any time.
Online Registration
An online registration can be done together with the Referrer, once the Referrer has logged into the Lyoness website. The cost of $ 1.50 is paid by the Referrer.
Online Shopping
As well as being open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the online shopping portal also currently offers the usual Lyoness Benefits to all Members on over 170 million products and services internationally. Log into the Lyoness website and your desired Online Shop using the "Loyalty Merchant Search" and "Product Search". As you have entered the Online Shop through the Lyoness website, you will be recognized as a Lyoness Member and your Member Benefits can be booked in the Loyalty Program.
Payment
Lyoness transfers accrued Member Benefits once a week (on Tuesdays). As soon as a Member´s personal Cash Account has accumulated $ 10, this amount will be transferred to the Member´s bank account.
Premium Member
Members who produce a high volume of shopping or gift card orders (top-shoppers), are known as Premium Members. Premium Members receive additional services from Lyoness (Gold Cashback Card, Cashback Magazine, etc.)
Purchase Account
The Purchase Account gives an overview of the funds available for the Member to spend in the form of Shopping Vouchers, Loyalty Vouchers and Store Vouchers, as well as unallocated payments for orders which have not yet been made.
Purchase Overview
An overview of all purchases made through Lyoness, including the Member Benefits which the Member receives for every purchase.
Re-Cash
With the Re-Cash option, all Partial Payment for Gift Card Orders that have been activated for Re-Cash will be paid back continually through the Member´s own purchases. In this case, the Loyalty Benefits from the Member’s purchases (with Cashback Card, Mobile Voucher, Gift Cards, Online Shopping) will be transferred into the Member´s private bank account, instead of going into the Member's Loyalty Program.
Referral Marketing
Referral marketing is a form of acquiring new and loyal customers. Existing customers recommend products or services from a provider to potential new customers. As an existing customer is making the referral, one can assume that that they are satisfied with the product or service. Every referral is the result of the existing customer's conviction.
Referred Member
If a Member registers someone as a new Lyoness Member, the new Member will become his Direct Member. The Member then benefits from the Friendship Bonus for all purchases that the newly recommended Direct Member makes through Lyoness. The Member will also benefit from the Direct Member‘s Loyalty Benefits.
Referrer
A Referrer is a Member who refers the Lyoness Benefits to someone who then registers as a new Member.
Registration
There are several ways to become a Lyoness Member: Online Registration, registration via a Friendship Flyer, Online-Flyer Registration or a registration through an SME Loyalty Merchant. The minimum age for registration in the US and Canada is 18, but this may vary in other countries. The minimum age for a successful registration for every country can be found in the Lyoness GTCs.
Registration through an SME Loyalty Merchant
Using the Friendship Flyer, an SME Loyalty Merchant can register a new Member when he makes an initital purchase.
Shopping Community
A shopping community is an association of companies and individuals with the goal to mutually increase the economic potential. From an economic perspective better conditions for purchases and sales result from the number of participants (members and merchants).
Shopping Vouchers
Shopping Vouchers are primarily for purchasing products from the Lyoness Store. They can be utilized to pay for Mobile Vouchers, Voucher/Gift Card Orders or other products from the Lyoness Store. They can also be employed for the registration of new Members online. Members can order the desired amount of Shopping Vouchers from the Lyoness store, or by completing an Order Form in the Regional Office (electronically or printed out). Once the order process has been completed, the Shopping Voucher will be booked into the Member's Purchase Account.
SME
Abbreviation for Small and Medium Enterprises.
Store Vouchers
In comparison to Mobile Vouchers and Loyalty Merchant Gift Cards, Store Vouchers can be used for various services within Lyoness. They are not valid for obtaining goods or services from Loyalty Merchants. There are Shopping Vouchers and Loyalty Vouchers which can be given as Gift Vouchers. Members can find an overview of the existing Store Vouchers in their Online Office once they have logged in at www.lyoness.net.
Types of Shopping
There are four types of shopping available for Lyoness Members to receive their Member Benefits: with the Cashback Card, Mobile Vouchers (Mobile Cashback), Loyalty Merchant Gift Cards and Online Shopping.
Unallocated Payments
Once a payment has been transferred to Lyoness, if no order has been booked, the payment will automatically be booked as "Unallocated Payments" in the Purchase Account Overview in the Online Office. The Unallocated Payments will be used to pay for orders that have been placed, or purchases from the Lyones Store (e.g. Store Vouchers, Vouchers/Gift Cards).
