Lyoness rejects ACCC allegations

29/08/2014
29 August 2014

Dear Lyoness Member,

Lyoness Australia has been advised that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has commenced proceedings against Lyoness Australia, alleging that Lyoness is operating a pyramid scheme and engaged in referral selling.

Lyoness thoroughly rejects the allegations raised by the ACCC and will vigorously defend its position.

Lyoness has been successfully active for 10 years with currently 4 million members and 40,000 loyalty merchants worldwide. In none of the 46 markets in which it is active Lyoness has ever been found guilty of or convicted for operating a pyramid scheme.

I assure you that daily business is not affected. This court action has no effect on Lyoness members, loyalty merchants or staff.

I will keep you updated as this process proceeds, but if you have any concerns about this matter, please contact me directly on +61 (0) 2 9007 1000 or office@lyoness.com.au

Thank you for your continued support of Lyoness Australia.

Best regards,

James O’Sullivan
Managing Director
