Lyoness as Presenting Partner for the Austrian GolfOpen:

Lyoness has been active in the sport of golf since 2008. The carefully planned commitment started with Lyoness hosting the Lyoness Open Event which was presented by Jürgen Maurer during the Alps Tour.

Following the success of the first event, for the next two years Lyoness concentrated more on being able to offer young players the possibility to get their first experience of a Pro Tour.

Lyoness has continued to build on this, and has now got a partnership with the most traditional Austria Golf Tournament, the Austria GolfOpen. On the one hand, this documents Lyoness’ national solidarity. On the other, the cooperation with the European Tour corresponds with Lyoness’ international orientation.

In particular, the worldwide media presence as a country and sector spanning shopping community in markets throughout Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Asia and the USA offers Lyoness an ideal communication platform.

John Daly is coming to Austria

Lyoness - John DalyThe golf profi’s “Enfant Terrible” is coming to the Austrian GolfOpen presented by Lyoness. John Daly became famous following his escapades off the golf course, as well as his performance on the course. Even though he dresses like a bird of paradise on the course, he is still the 2-time champion of major tournaments.


“I’m looking forward to coming to Austria, where I played a tournament at Zell am See a few years ago.
Since hearing that Miguel Angel Jimenez worked on the design of the course, I am very curious to see
how it looks” says Daly in the interview.

CFF Gala Dinner

The long term partnership will also be crucial for the Child & Family Foundation.
Under the philosophy “Preserving life through education”, the Lyoness Foundation is the partner for the Gala Evening during the Austrian GolfOpen. All the proceeds from the evening will go towards the Foundation’s national and international education projects.
