The Race
The world´s hardest race, the Race Across America (RAAM), starts on June 15th. The route crosses the U.S. from the West Coast to the East Coast.
- 4,900 km length, over 30,000 m height difference
- Through the desert, over the Rocky Mountains
- Daily calorie consumption of up to 16,000 kcal, up to one litre water intake per hour
The Extreme Cyclist
The 28-year old Austrian extreme cyclist Christoph Strasser, currently finalizing his training at the Mojave Desert, is the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation ambassador at the Race Across America.

- Vice-European Champion - Title at the Race Around Slovenia 2008
A Good Cause
Lyoness will be there following Christoph Strasser´s every kilometre. The proceeds of the auction of Strasser´s RAAM bicycle will benefit the Foundation.
