The Race

The world´s hardest race, the Race Across America (RAAM), starts on June 15th. The route crosses the U.S. from the West Coast to the East Coast.

• 4,900 km length, over 30,000 m height difference
• Through the desert, over the Rocky Mountains
• Daily calorie consumption of up to 16,000 kcal, up to one litre water intake per hour

The Extreme Cyclist

The 28-year old Austrian extreme cyclist Christoph Strasser, currently finalizing his training at the Mojave Desert, is the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation ambassador at the Race Across America.
